Jeremy Prydal qualified in 1982 and has been consultant since 2020 providing a teaching hospital based tertiary referral service for eye disease and trauma.  In addition to general ophthalmology experience, he is a specialist in conditions affecting the cornea, eye surface, ocular trauma, corneal transplantation, complex cataract surgery (phacoemulsification), intra-ocular lens calculations and refractive problems.

Jeremy has over 20 years experience providing medico-legal reports for personal injury and medical negligence cases, having attended a number Bond Solon training courses. He has experience acting for both the claimant and defendant (50:50 for negligence), case conferences and joint reports.

He currently provides 35-40 reports per year.
