I am a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital with a specialised practise within orthopaedic surgery. I have been a consultant since 2003. I hold the fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine.

I regularly provide anaesthesia for both adults and children. I provide anaesthetic services for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, surgery for bone tumours, limb reconstruction and nerve injury repair. I also provide anaesthesia for spinal surgery. I have completed Responsible Officer training and hold the positions of Associate Responsible Officer and appraisal lead for my NHS Trust.

As such I am familiar with regulatory requirements and process. I am developing my medico-legal work and have supported this with expert witness training at the Royal Society of Medicine. I will undertake claimant or defendant instruction.
