I am willing to accept instructions relating to the quantification and costing of construction works (excluding mechanical & electrical installations).

I have been a quantity surveyor since 2003 and during this time I have undertaking quantification and costing of construction works at each stage of the construction process.

I have extensive knowledge and 20 years of active experience in the preparation of traditional bills of quantities both in SMM7 and more recently in NRM2 format. I have been responsible for the preparation of bills of quantities on multitude of projects, including high rise residential, hospitals, laboratories, schools, retail and commercial projects ranging up to £150m in value.

I have extensive experience in providing early cost advise to clients whether in the form of feasibility studies or elemental cost planning in accordance with NRM1.

Since 2009, I have been responsible for the commercial aspects of live construction projects for national and international building envelope subcontractors, with individual packages values ranging from £2-£30m. Since 2014, I have taken a more active role in contractual support advice for clients and following the completion of an MSc in construction law and practice in 2018, I have successfully represented clients in adjudication proceedings, both as the Referring and Responding party. I have an excellent understanding of JCT & NEC contracts.

I have been an RICS Registered Expert Witness since 2022
