Principal clinical interests:

Renal transplantation, surgical aspects of renal failure, vascular access, general surgery, endocrine surgery, particularly parathyroid and adrenal, laparoscopic surgery.
Extensive research in transplant biology
Past mentor in renal transplant surgery to several units in the UK.
Cofounder of Transplant Links (TLC), charity facilitating renal transplantation in developing world. Mentor to developing overseas renal transplant programs.
New Years Honours List 2018, MBE “For services to renal transplantation”.

More than 25 years of medico-legal experience.
Provided expert reports for many of the UK’s largest legal firms.
Instructions equally between defence and claimant.
Mostly clinical negligence. Personal injury, when within areas of expertise.
Cases usually settled without trial. Have given evidence in court and prepared to do so.
Reports usually completed within 4 to 6 weeks of receiving notes.
No charge for email exchanges or minor amendments.
Will provide fixed-fee, short-form/overview reports.
