I was a specialist upper GI surgeon with extensive expertise and experience in diseases of, and surgery relating to, the oesophagus, stomach, gallbladder and pancreas. I performed over 2000 operations to remove the gallbladder and over 300 anti-reflux procedures, nearly all laparoscopic.
I have published widely in several areas relating to oesophagogastric surgery for malignancy. In addition I was on the emergency rota receiving general surgical cases for over 40 years, nearly all of that time as the senior operating surgeon.
The last 10 to 15 of these years I worked in one of the busiest hospitals in the UK in relation to emergency general surgical admissions. I can provide advice and prepare reports on any emergency general surgical matter.
The majority of my work is clinical negligence but I also see patients in a medical facility in Swansea and provide Condition and Prognosis reports in relation to clinical negligence and personal injury.
