Ms Shveta Bansal is a Consultant Ophthalmologist based at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Areas of experience includes:

Comprehensive Ophthalmology including Cataract surgery and all causes of Vision loss.

In addition, Ms Bansal specialises in Neuro-ophthalmology and Strabismus (Squint) surgery, for which she leads a tertiary service in the Lancashire region.

She manages patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical problems which have impacted vision, including trauma, surgery, brain tumours, disorders of the optic nerve and raised intracranial pressure.
