Mr Peterson is a full-time consultant trauma & orthopaedic surgeon at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital & Liverpool University Hospitals.
He treats both children and adults at specialist tertiary referral orthopaedic major trauma centres and is a member of the British Limb Reconstruction Society, the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery and the British Orthopaedic Association.
Mr Peterson has successfully completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificate in Civil Law & has also undertaken formal medico-legal training with Inspire Medilaw.
His practice includes a specialist interest in the management of all aspects of all adult & paediatric limb reconstruction surgery including management of complex trauma, limb lengthening, deformity correction, non-union and bone infection.
Mr Peterson’s practice also includes the management of children’s fractures and trauma as well as all aspects of children’s orthopaedics including the upper and lower limbs.
Mr Peterson only accepts instruction on cases involving complex trauma / limb reconstruction surgery / deformity / bone infection / paediatric orthopaedic cases.
He does not accept instruction on soft tissue injury or minor musculoskeletal trauma.
