Jason has been in the construction industry for over 22 years as a quantity surveyor and more recently quantum expert. He started his career working for large main contractors as the commercial lead on projects up to £30m and within their legal and dispute teams.
In 2012 Jason began working on the consultancy side of the profession. Over this time he managed complex disputes and accounts for employers, main contractors and sub-contractors in the construction, rail and infrastructure sectors.
In order to further his knowledge and offer a more specialised service Jason completed an LLM in construction law, adjudication and arbitration via distance learning, completing in 2014.
Jason’s role whilst sharing the operational management of Overford, includes commercial management, claims management, defending claims, claims preparation, contract reviews and advice covering a variety of different sectors and schemes.
Jason also acts as a quantum and delay expert. His daily duties typically include managing claims, preparing quantum narratives and representing parties in formal dispute resolution matters such as adjudications and arbitrations.
