I have over 25 years experience in paediatric ophthalmology working as an NHS consultant in this area since 1996. I have worked abroad in Africa and the Middle East in senior clinical, management and training roles. Since 2002.

I have worked mostly in Glasgow at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital and as head of department 2019-2021.

I have seen many children with suspected and actual abusive head trauma and acted as a professional witness regularly in my time in Glasgow and more frequently in the last 2 years as an expert witness.

I would like to receive instructions in cases of possible abusive head trauma in children.

I do not have access to clinical examination facilities.

Abusive head trauma, shaken baby syndrome, inflicted head injury, non accidental injury, child abuse, retinal haemorrhages, inflicted brain injury and paediatrics.
