Siobhan is a practicing Consultant Chartered Physiotherapist with more than 28 years of clinical experience spanning the NHS and private practice with over 10 years’ experience in the medicolegal field.

Siobhan accepts instructions in civil litigation matters for initial screening to full report preparation for breach of duty and causation in clinical negligence cases in the following physiotherapy areas for children (2+ years) and adults:

Neurological, including, cerebral palsy CP, cauda equina syndrome CES, spinal cord injury SCI, traumatic brain injury TBI and stroke CVA; Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic and multi-trauma injuries.

Chronic pain, and medically unexplained pain; Adult and paediatric neurology, Equine facilitated physiotherapy EFPT and hippotherapy; Long-term conditions; Recovery and rehabilitation from loss of function.

Siobhan also considers issues relating to consent to treatment, failure to assess and/or diagnose, failure to refer on and/or request further investigations, red flags.

Memberships include: The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Medico-legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP).

Her reports are evidence and clinical experience based, timely, balanced and clear. Reports are compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules, the accompanying Practice Direction and the Guidance for the instruction of experts in civil claims.
