Recently retired as a DC from the Police, Adrian is well versed in drug investigations from simple possession level offences to multi kilo importation offences.

Adrian gained experience working as a beat officer in one of the most deprived areas in Southampton, gaining a vital insight into the world of drugs. This included witnessing drug dealing, drug taking, and drug related anti-social behaviour.

Adrian successfully provided a voice for those affected by drug use, in a number of drug supply cases, something they would have been unable to do themselves.

In 2018, Adrian took all this experience and successfully passed a Drug Expert Witness Foundation course.

In 2019, Adrian successfully passed a Level 2 Drug Expert Witness course which involved providing expert evidence in County Lines cases.

Adrian successfully passed a Level 3 Organised Crime and Drug Trafficking course in 2021. This led to being asked to provide expert evidence in a number of large importation offences using the EncroChat messaging network.

In 2023 The Forensic Science Regulator introduced their Code of Practice [version 1]. Adrian is well versed in compliance with this Code and is able to verify whether it has been complied with, in relation to drug evidence.

Since 2018, Adrian has provided written evidence in the criminal justice system in excess of 750 times. He has attended Crown, Magistrates and Youth courts in London, Hampshire & Dorset, giving live evidence in more than 30 cases.
