I have been undertaking medicolegal work since 2015. I am happy to be instructed by claimant or defendant in the following areas. Adult intensive care, critical care and high dependency care including:

Delayed intensive care admission.
Prediction of mortality in the seriously ill.
Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS).
Complications of central venous catheters.
Complications of tracheostomy.

Adult anaesthesia including.
General anaesthesia.
Spinal anaesthesia.
Nerve blocks and regional anaesthesia.
Sedation.

Complications of all forms of anaesthesia including.
Awareness under anaesthesia and awake paralysis.
Nerve damage after anaesthesia.
Dental damage after anaesthesia.
Injuries after anaesthesia.

Fitness for anaesthesia and pre-operative assessment. The risks of anaesthesia and mortality prediction. My service includes the production of desktop reports and examination of patients when necessary.

I turn round all reports within 6 weeks of receiving both instructions and appropriate documentation. I will engage in all follow up activities including meetings with counsel and other experts, joint expert statements and attendance at court when this is necessary.
