Mr Kalsi is a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon who specialises in treating conditions affecting the adult spine.

He is an expert in the management of routine and complex spinal conditions including degenerative spinal disorders (neck pain, arm pain, myelopathy, back pain.

Lumbar disc prolapse & cauda equina syndrome, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis), spinal cord injury and spine fractures, spine tumours (intradural and metastatic) as well as infection, vascular and CSF disorders of the spine.

Mr Kalsi completed his medical degree at Imperial College School of Medicine and undertook a PhD in spinal cord injury and repair at University College London.

He completed his specialist fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Krembil Brain Institute, University of Toronto, and the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in London.

Mr Kalsi routinely performs around 150- 200 major spinal operations per year split 50:50 between the cervical and the lumbar spine.

He has been involved in medicolegal report writing since 2023 and routinely completes between 20-30 medicolegal reports per year.

The majority (75%) of the cases he accepts are related to medical negligence and 25% are personal injury.

He is a Bond Solon (CUBS) accredited expert witness.
