Will is an academic orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in trauma surgery, fracture fixation failure, nonunion and osteomyelitis.
He is responsible for hip fracture care in England and Wales as the Surgical Clinical lead for the National Hip Fracture Database. He is director of Northern Trauma Consulting Ltd.
Will is involved in benchmarking surgical quality as Chair of the Specialty Surgical Board of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He helps coordinate United Kingdom Orthopaedic Trauma and co-author BOAST guidelines.
Will is involved in benchmarking Major Trauma Care and open fracture data collection nationally as the Orthopaedic representative on the National Major Trauma Network.
Will spent 19 years in the British Army and thus is well placed to handle military musculoskeletal claims.
Will is efficient in report writing and has represented a broad range of Instructing solicitors in the past 14 years.
He will see patients at the Park View clinic in Middlesbrough or elsewhere if needed and turns around detailed reports in a couple of days where needed.
Will has completed Training in Civil Procedures Rules Part 35 and is currently undertaking the Bond Solon Expert Witness Training.
