Mr Lovell has been a Consultant Spine Surgeon since 2010 with 15 years’ experience of medicolegal reporting in both personal injury and clinical negligence.

He has attended court, is experienced in the preparation of joint reports and is fully conversant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR 35), the Practice Direction (PD35) and the Pre-Action Protocols.

He is he medicolegal lead for a tertiary referral spinal unit and its referring hospitals and is a medical case reviewer for Nuffield Health nationwide.

His clinical and medicolegal practice includes spinal trauma, fractures, whiplash, back pain, cauda equina syndrome, cancer, infection, myelopathy and degenerative conditions.
