I am an expert in all areas of breast cancer treatment, including HER2-positive, hormone receptor-positive, and triple-negative breast cancer; endocrine therapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy,

Immunotherapy; treatment selection, sequencing, monitoring, and toxicity; and complications such as chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and anthracycline-related cardiotoxicity.

I provide expert opinion on alleged delays or failures in diagnosis, referral, investigation, and treatment; inappropriate or omitted therapy; consent and communication; clinical monitoring and follow-up; prognosis, life expectancy, and causation; and whether the care met the standard expected of a reasonably competent oncologist.

I also accept instructions concerning clinical-trial design and conduct, trial mismanagement, drug development, medicines appraisal, oncology service design, commissioning, governance, patient safety, and systemic failings in cancer care.

My experience spans more than two and a half decades as a consultant medical oncologist, clinical researcher, and national adviser, including leadership of breast cancer trials, systemic anti-cancer therapy services, clinical research facilities, and NICE appraisals.
