Dr. Hemmady is a Consultant Dermatologist with 14 years of clinical experience.

She is certified and licensed to practice dermatology in India, the UAE, and the UK. Her expertise spans general dermatology, acute dermatology, skin cancers, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology and aesthetic dermatology, in both the NHS and private practice with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.

Dermatology is my specialist area of expertise, supported by extensive NHS and specialist clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of skin diseases, including inflammatory dermatoses, skin cancer, infections, autoimmune and pigmentary disorders, occupational dermatology, adverse drug reactions, and chronic skin conditions.

I have substantial experience in assessing complex presentations, interpreting investigations, formulating differential diagnoses, and delivering evidence-based care in line with national guidelines.

I am on the UK General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Dermatology.

I provide independent medico-legal opinions in clinical negligence, civil litigation, and personal injury cases, assessing standards of care, breach of duty, causation, prognosis, and the long-term impact of dermatological disease or injury.

I also hold a Master of Science in Law (MS-Law) from the University of Maryland, providing a strong understanding of medical negligence, healthcare regulation, evidence evaluation, and the legal responsibilities of expert witnesses.
