I have been preparing medical reports since 1996 as a registrar, senior registrar and consultant. I undertake about 600 reports per year.

My instructions have are split about 50% claimant, 20% defendant and 30% single joint instruction. I also undertake medical negligence reports.

My waiting list for appointments is about 1–2 weeks. The completed reports are returned to the instructing party within 1 week.

I have been to court on 6 occasions. Two of these occasions were to provide factual information. The other four occasions were to provide expert evidence and opinion.

I have also been to court as an independent expert instructed by the coroner.
