Currently holding the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barnsley District General Hospital.

Mr Ismaiel still practices clinically and is the lead upper limb surgeon at the unit conducting a number of specialist procedures such as complex elbow, complex hand and complex shoulder and upper limb; he also performs joint replacements, primarily revision elbow.

In addition to this, Mr Ismaiel is also Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Academic Unit of the Orthopaedics Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of Sheffield.

Mr Ismaiel has extensive experience in providing personal injury reports completing over 10,000 reports since he began in 1993.  His expertise is orthopaedic and complex trauma surgery with particular interest in upper limb surgery.

Mr Ismaiel is proficient in preparing his reports and is compliant with CPR rules; he also attends regular medico legal training and conferences to keep up to date and develop his knowledge of medico legal matters.

Preparing reports at a 50/50 claimant/defendant ratio Mr Ismaiel provides secure virtual clinical e-consultations, opinions, second opinions, and e-medicolegal work through most available platforms.
