Dr Sarah Cockbill is a pharmacist with wide experience of academic, hospital, community, veterinary and agricultural areas of the profession.

She is competent in most aspects of the formulation, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions and appropriate dosage for most common forms of medication.

Dr Cockbill’s term as pharmacist member on the veterinary products committee gave her experience of the data mandated before applications from manufacturers to license new products could be considered. She also had a MHRA committee membership.

She has knowledge of the research materials necessary to ensure that the expert witness reports she submits are comprehensive, relevant and, if possible, achieve the objectives of those who instruct her.

Dr Cockbill can act as an expert pharmaceutical witness on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.

She has attended annual expert training programmes organised by Bond Solon and others.

I was also on a MHRA panel related to the licensing of human medicines.
