We launched an international gemmological with offices in Birmingham, London, and New York responsible for the training development and maintenance of standards for a global team of valuers and experts.

Dr Taylor has extensive experience advising on quality control and quality assurance, testing, validation, audit, and valuation. Dr Taylor is a fellow of the Gemmological Association of GB, a fellow of the National Association of Goldsmiths, a fellow member of the Institute of Registered Valuers, and a fellow of the Geological Society of GB.

His expertise includes retail management, jewellery repair and manufacture, testing, certification, and valuation.

Dr Taylor has been involved in research into diamonds and gemstone synthesis, treatment, and identification with numerous international publications. He was an honorary research fellow at the University of St Andrews. He was also a distinguished visiting Professor at the China University of Geosciences and a lecturer in advanced gemmology and valuation science at Birmingham City University’s School of Jewellery.

He works as a consultant and Expert witness in the fields of Diamonds, Gemmology, and the Jewellery watch and coin industry, both in the UK and internationally, with expertise in their authenticity, provenance, and value.

Dr Taylor has over 30 years of experience as an expert witness and adviser to the police, insurance industry,  tax, revenue and customs, trading standards and private clients.

Dr Taylor also undertakes publicly funded cases and has significant experience in stock valuation and audit procedures. The company  is recognised internationally for its expertise in diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery.
