I am a Consultant Haematologist with over 20 years of experience, and I am happy to accept instructions with regards most haematological conditions.

My particular areas of clinical specialism relate to:

Blood cancers (e.g. Leukaemia and Lymphoma) however I run a busy general haematology service both in the NHS and privately.

This encompasses elements of managing venous thrombosis, transfusion practice, anaemia as well as all aspects of diagnostics.

I have published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored two text books on diagnosis in haematology.

I was recently lead clinician for the West of Scotland Blood Cancer Network and was chair of our MDT until 2025.

I have participated regularly in the publishing of regional and national guidelines.

I retired from full time NHS practice in May 2026 but continue to practice in the private sector.
