Dr Archna Mathur is an experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of clinical experience in Primary Care, Paediatrics, Safeguarding, and Private Practice. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) and holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
Her career has included roles as GP Partner, Salaried GP, Portfolio GP, GPwSI Paediatrics, and Private GP.
She has extensive paediatric experience gained through posts at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. She has expertise in child health, paediatric allergy, preventative medicine, safeguarding, chronic disease management, and early diagnosis.
As a former Primary Care Child Safeguarding Lead, she has extensive experience in risk assessment, multidisciplinary working, clinical governance, and healthcare standards.
She holds leadership roles within the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Local Medical Committee and is actively involved in mentoring, supervision, appraisal, and education.
Dr Mathur previously served on an Expert Witness Panel and has a longstanding interest in medico-legal practice. She is skilled in medical records review, independent medical assessment, evidence-based analysis, and the preparation of clear, balanced, and impartial expert opinions.
