I have worked within adult mental health for 30 years, starting in the NHS in 1994 and becoming a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in 2005.

Since 2012 I have provided psychological assessment reports following medical negligence and for personal injury cases such as road traffic accidents / collisions, pedestrian accidents and accidents at work.

I have expertise in assessing a wide range of psychological difficulties, including those covered by the following diagnoses:

• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
• Adjustments Disorders (with anxiety and / or depression).
• Specific Phobias (e.g. car travel, fear of falling).
• Major Depressive Disorders.
• Generalised Anxiety Disorder.
• Panic Disorder.

I also have extensive experience assessing psychological adjustment to chronic pain, physical scarring or following medical negligence.

I attained the Cardiff University Law School Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate (CUBS) in 2017. I was also one of the original members to be Certified by the Expert Witness Institute (EWI) in 2017. I renewed this in 2023 and became a Certified Fellow of the EWI also.

I currently see clients face-to-face in clinics across the North West of England in nine different locations: Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Burnley, Chester, Liverpool, Oldham, Preston and Warrington.
