I am a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia at Salford Royal Foundation Trust which is a teaching hospital of the University of Manchester and Trauma Centre for Greater Manchester.

The Manchester and Salford Pain Centre uses interdisciplinary assessment involving healthcare professionals from differing disciplines and professions including physiotherapy and psychology that provides rehabilitation and interventional pain management.

Pain management: assessment, diagnosis & prognosis of unexplained persistent pain and disability following injury.
Pain from injuries due to road traffic accidents, trauma injuries related to the neck, skeletal, soft tissue and spine.
Continuing pain following surgery.
Management of pain.
Pain management programmes, pain therapy & relief.
Chronic pain syndromes and pain related disability.
Fibromyalgia.
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy / complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
Complications of analgesic management.
Anaesthetics: general and regional anaesthesia.
