Dr Rajan qualified in 2006 from The University of Edinburgh and has trained in Edinburgh, London and the North West. His NHS post is as a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia where has practised since 2015.

​Dr Rajan’s consultant practice involves conducting a range of interdisciplinary pain medicine clinics with interventional practice including radiofrequency, coeliac plexus blocks, nerve root blocks and epidurals.

He works assessing both secondary and tertiary pain medicine referrals I work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary pain management team, aiming to maximise patient involvement and satisfaction.

Dr Rajan has an interest in metabolic medicine patients with chronic pain (working in one of only two national centres that specialise in such disease) and have lectured to both specialist groups and patient groups on the subject of chronic pain in metabolic disease regionally.

He conducts acute pain ward rounds in both NHS and private hospitals and see both chronic and cancer pain patients.

​He is an expert in all areas of adult pain medicine, including musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathic conditions, CRPS, chronic post-traumatic pain, sciatica, myofascial pain syndromes, whiplash, fibromyalgia, and musculoskeletal pain.

I have conducted over 300 expert reports over the last 8 years and I have completed the CUBS Cardiff University Bond Solon expert witness certificate.
