Dr Julie Cox is a Consultant Radiologist practising in North East England. She qualified in 1993 and was appointed as a substantive Consultant Radiologist in 2002.

Her clinical expertise includes breast imaging, general diagnostic radiology, vascular imaging, and interventional radiology.

She undertakes medicolegal instructions in cases concerning alleged delay in diagnosis and radiological interpretation, with particular experience in breast and lung cancer litigation.

Dr Cox provides independent overview reports and detailed opinions addressing breach of duty, liability, and causation across general, breast, and interventional radiology practice.

She prepares approximately 12 expert reports per year and has given oral evidence in Court.

The usual timeframe from instruction to report is six to eight weeks. Urgent instructions can be accommodated by prior agreement.
