I am a clinical psychologist specialising in personal injury medico-legal assessment. I have worked in expert witness work since 2008. I specialise in the effects of trauma in both adults and children, including the psychological impact of trauma and pain.
I am experienced at conducting psychological assessments across the lifespan.
I am able to assess with clients who have a learning disability / autism spectrum disorders. I am on the Board of Governors for the Expert Witness Institute (EWI) and run training sessions in association with the EWI on issues in civil litigation from a mental health perspective.
I am frequently instructed in the following types of cases:

Workplace stress, harassment or bullying.
Physical or sexual abuse.

Criminal injuries compensation authority assessments.
I have a special interest in the psychological impact of long-term / chronic pain and pain management, as well as psychological difficulties including Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, adjustment disorders, depression, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders, behavioural problems in children.
I hold an MSc in pain management approaches.
I hold the Bond Solon / Cardiff Law School Expert Witness Certificate.
I am HCPC registered.
I am an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society.
I am able to see clients within 6 weeks of instruction, either face to face at my clinics in East Anglia and Sussex, or online.
