I am an experienced Consultant Haematologist and I am happy to to accept instructions with regards most haematological conditions.

My particular areas of clinical specialism relate to blood cancers (e.g. Leukaemia and Lymphoma) however I run a busy general haematology service both in the NHS and privately.

This encompasses elements of managing venous thrombosis, transfusion practice, anaemia as well as all aspects of diagnostics. I have published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and co-authored two text books on diagnosis in haematology.

I was recently lead clinician for the West of Scotland Blood Cancer Network. I participate regularly in the publishing of regional and national guidelines. I am current chair of our MDT.
