Dr Nicholas Plunkett has retained a medico-legal practice for more than 15 years, instructed approximately equally for both claimant and defendant and comprising an approximately equal mix of personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Over time, his instructions for the defendant have been predominantly in clinical negligence cases, where he utilises a forensic approach.

Dr Plunkett attends to communications assiduously with a straightforward and friendly approach to interactions with legal colleagues, supplying reports in a timely manner on matters of breach of duty, causation, and condition and prognosis on a wide range of pain conditions.

These include Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, post spinal surgery pain and disability including CES, and chronic post-surgical pain syndromes including neuropathic pain.

Dr Plunkett can take instructions on behalf of either claimant or defendant or as a Single Joint Expert.
