Dr Loughlin has been producing medico-legal reports since 2000.

He has prepared reports in cases involving personal injury, work-related stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fitness to work, mental capacity assessments, Lasting Power of Attorney and testamentary capacity.

All reports are prepared in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and Woolf reforms

He has completed Bond Solon and APIL training in medico-legal report writing and courtroom skills, and has undertaken further advanced medico-legal and court skills training, including Specialist Info and Bond Solon programmes.

In-patient and out-patient treatment of adults of working age and older age with conditions such as affective disorders (major depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders and cognitive disorders.

Currently holds Approved Clinician status as a Section 12(2) Approved Doctor.

Areas include:

General Adult Psychiatry: Affective Disorders (Major Depression and Bipolar Disorder), PTSD, OCD, Phobic Travel Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Somatoform Disorders.

Older Adult Psychiatry: Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementias, Lewy Body Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.
