I have been a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care since 1998 working in Tunbridge Wells in both the NHS and private sectors.
Expertise in Adult Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine and Regional Anaesthesia.
I trained in Edinburgh and London in Medicine, Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine. I have held ITU leadership positions as Clinical Lead for ITU and Clinical Lead for Kent Critical Care Network.
Following this, I was Deputy Medical Director, Divisional Director for Surgery and then Medical Director for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust from 20010-2017.
I spent 2 years as Medical Director in Abu Dhabi and have now returned to my NHS Trust in a Clinical Role.
In my many years of senior medical leadership position, I have widespread experience of managing clinical negligence issues, civil claims and coroner’s court hearings. I have become conversant with the workings of the legal system and the needs of various parties.
