I have extensive experience of civil litigation in respiratory medicine and lung injury, including asbestos-related lung and pleural disease, occupational, obstructive and interstitial lung diseases, chest trauma, lung cancer, some aspects of medical negligence, and pulmonary function testing.

I prepare around 200 reports a year on all aspects of respiratory disease, and have given evidence in Civil, Criminal and Coroners’ courts on the instruction of Plaintiffs’ and Defendants’ solicitors, and as a Single Joint Expert.

I have published over a hundred refereed papers on respiratory and related topics, and have contributed to educational events and programmes for the legal profession on occupational and industrial lung disease.
