I have spent 28 years working as a medical practitioner in obstetrics and gynaecology practice.

For the last 18 years I have worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and
Gynaecologist with a special interest in emergency gynaecology care, laparoscopic and major gynaecological surgery and gynaecological cancer care.

I am currently the lead clinician for gynaecological cancer and colposcopy.

I am an appraiser for consultant medical staff at the trust. I have experience in carrying out internal investigations of clinical incidents at the trust and I am an Educational Supervisor for senior doctors in training. I have previously, for 4 years, worked as the
Clinical Director for the obstetrics and gynaecology division and during this time was departmental governance lead.
