Professor Anand is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).
He has prepared CPR-compliant personal injury and medico-legal reports since 2016 and has completed formal expert witness training. His expertise centres on complex spinal conditions and general orthopaedic trauma, with particular focus on causation analysis, prognosis, functional impact and treatment requirements.

Complex spinal surgery, including cervical, thoracic and lumbar disorders; disc herniation, radiculopathy and neurogenic claudication; spinal fractures and trauma; post-traumatic deformity; degenerative spinal disease; chronic low back pain; and complications following spinal surgery.
General orthopaedic trauma, including upper and lower limb fractures, peri-articular and high-energy injuries, soft-tissue and ligamentous trauma, and musculoskeletal pain syndromes following injury.
Medico-Legal Practice
Professor Anand undertakes instructions in personal injury, clinical negligence and complex musculoskeletal trauma. His practice is balanced, with instructions drawn from both Claimants (approximately 80%) and Defendants (20%).
All reports are independent, evidence-based and compliant with CPR Part 35.
