Mr Bohra is based in Midlands and sees clients in Birmingham, Halesowen and Derby.
He is compliant with the requirements of Part 35 and practice direction 35, the protocol for the instruction of experts to give evidence in civil claims and the practice direction on pre-action conduct.
He obtained the ‘Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules for Expert Witnesses Certificate’ to evidence his understanding and compliance with the above requirements.
He has undertaken numerous courses and attended relevant conferences to keep himself updated in the field.
He has been providing medical expert witness reports since 2011 for law firms and agencies across the country and from abroad including Ireland and West Indies.
He has worked for NHS LA and local council. He is a member of the BMLS (Birmingham Medico Legal Society) and The Expert Witness Directory and Forensic and Expert Witness UK. He has been an invited speaker for NHS LA.
He provides a variety of reports on all general surgical problems including but not limited to problems of oesophagus, stomach, intestine, hernias, abdominal organ injuries, acute trauma, endoscopy and Bariatric (Obesity) surgery.
The expertise also covers negligence claims in relation to all of the above. Common cases are hernia injuries, road traffic accidents, multiple trauma, organ injuries (spleen, intestine, liver), surgical negligence, work place injury, general injury claims.
No conditional claims (no win no fee) cases are undertaken. He provides about 80 reports a year, with 95% for claimants.
He has attended the court. An appointment can be arranged within a week at Birmingham or Derby. Video interviews are commonly performed. Independent expert reports are usually available within 15-20 working days.
