I am an experienced Expert Witness Architect with expertise in dispute resolution, professional negligence and in the legal field, being one of the few architects qualified as a Chartered Arbitrator.
As well as being a Chartered Architect, Christopher has a Masters Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a registered dispute resolver with the RIBA, RICS and CIArb.
I am able to provide an independent opinion on the performance of architects and sometimes building surveyors. All areas of professional services including design, planning, building regulations and contract administration.
Compliance or otherwise with professional codes of conduct and with the terms of appointment. Building types are residential and commercial, as well as the conservation, repair and alteration of historic buildings.
I am able to opine on building defects such as on roofing, rainwater disposal, glazing, windows, damp proofing, tanking, external walls, vapour control and compliance or otherwise with the Building Regulations.
I have also given opinions on contract disputes regarding quality and the common issue of design v workmanship.
