Mr Downes is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 30 years of specialist experience.

He was appointed to Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust London on 01 January 1999 and entered full-time independent practice in April 2010, providing comprehensive clinical care across all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Since semi-retiring in April 2025, Mr Downes continues to hold outpatient clinics and provides expert consultancy and medico-legal services.

His extensive clinical background and longstanding consultant experience underpin the provision of clear, balanced, and authoritative professional opinions.
