I have been involved in medico-legal work over the last fifteen years and have prepared reports on cases of personal injury and medical negligence in relation to general and colorectal surgery.

I prepare 20-30 reports each year with my work being 80% claimant, 20% defendant. Until 2021 I was a medical assessor for the GMC Fitness to Practice process and a member of the invited review panel of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I retired from clinical practice in 2021.
