Jason’s is a Chartered Fire Engineer with National Security Clearance (SC) and a career that extends to international work gaining extensive fire engineering and fire safety experience providing technical excellence within highly regulated industries, such a Nuclear.

He is an active member of many fire professional communities, he Chaired the Nuclear Industry Fire Safety Coordination Committee (2017 – 2019), he is also the Chair of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Special Interest Group for Industrial Fire and Risk, he is a Senior Examiner for the IFE, Ethics committee member and a BSI Committee member for 7974-6.

Jason established Nuclear Industry Fire Safety and Risk Colloquium.

Led Horizon Nuclear Power fire safety advice and oversight for the UKs New Nuclear Development at Wylfa North Wales, which included benchmarking this work against other Nuclear Power Stations, such as reference plant TEPCO facility at Kashiwazaki-Kariwa in Japan and Exelon facilities in Chicago

Human Behaviour – Detailed understanding for human behaviour during fire, as BSI committee member his work supported the re-development of 7974 Part 6:2019, application of fire safety engineering principles to the design of buildings.
