I am a building envelopes expert with over 30 year’s experience. I founded Oculus in 2007 to provide expertise in the envelope and façade sector of the construction industry.

My field of expertise is in building envelopes ie. roofs and facades of all types including:

Facades: curtain wall, windows and general fenestration, bolted glass, balustrades, masonry and aluminium, stone and terracotta cladding. Roofing: Single ply membranes, built up felt and hot melt as well as glazed roof structures.

I have given evidence and been cross examined including the ICC and county court as well as adjudication. I have also acted as single joint expert. As expert witness and expert advisor, these cases involve inspection and diagnostics, coordination of testing and provision of remedial scheme/redesign solution I have worked on many cases as expert advisor during pre-action protocol, mediation and litigation.
