I am a consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon working in a regional plastic surgery unit at a large university teaching hospital. I perform the full range of elective and trauma plastic surgery with a large hand surgery workload.

I am also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle University Medical School supervising laboratory based melanoma skin cancer research. I have performed and have extensive research experience in wound healing and scars.
