I have been a consultant urological surgeon for over 25 years. During this time I have committed myself to developing a first class urological service for my patients. I began my medicolegal practice in 2000, initially writing only a few reports per year, but now write approximately 50-60 medico-legal reports for both claimants and defendants (approximately 70:30) annually. I write reports for both clinical negligence and personal injury claims. I have experience of writing joint reports and attending Court when required.

I have attended courses on writing medico-legal reports and writing reports in cases of alleged clinical negligence in 2011 and 2013, and with my extensive clinical experience, feel well equipped to produce good quality medical reports for the Court. I have completed CertMR Part 1 and have obtained Bond Solon Civil Procedure Rules for Expert Witnesses Certificate in 2013. I attended advanced courses run by Specialist Info on ‘writing expert reports in clinical negligence cases’ in November 2013 and again in March 2021.

I have received awards from Expert Witness in recognition of the quality of my medicolegal practice in 2020 and 2022 together with an award for One Health Group as the Urology Expert Witness Law Firm of the Year in United Kingdom – England 2022.
