I have been on the council & subgroups of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society & British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. I have a research degree in Gynaecological Oncology & Master of Science degree in advanced laparoscopic surgery.

I do not undertake any obstetrics cases as my workload is entirely related to benign and malignant gynaecology.

Areas of expertise include:

Gynaecological cancer investigation and diagnostic services, with expertise on the management of pre-malignant & early gynaecological cancers – including cervical/vaginal, vulval, endometrial, tubal, ovarian, borderline tumours, & contributing to Multi Disciplinary Team meetings.

I have expertise in vulval diseases and management including management of pre-malignant VIN, and diagnosis of vulval cancer; colposcopy and cervical screening problems, including management of abnormal smears and treatment of CIN, diagnosis of cervical cancer.

Gynaecological open abdominal and laparoscopic / minimal access surgery including hysterectomy, myomectomy, tubal/ovarian surgery, surgery for adhesions.

Management of endometriosis, including medical and surgical management.
Management of fibroids, including medical and surgical management.
Hysteroscopic surgery (out- & in-patient), endometrial ablation.
Menstrual disorders.

General gynaecology (excluding adolescent problems, fertility issues and urogynaecology / prolapse problems).
Emergency gynaecology including ectopic pregnancy diagnosis and management.
Cervical screening.
