I am the lead Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals. I deal almost exclusively with high energy, multiply injured patients. I have a particular interest in pelvic and acetabular fractures, open lower limb injuries and amputations.
The majority of my medico-legal instructions now relate to multiply injured patients, although I still treat and report on isolated limb injuries (especially complex ones).
I have a significant academic interest and have grants totalling £3M from the National Institute for Health Research, looking at different treatment methods for patients sustaining femoral fractures, acetabular fractures and pelvic fractures.
I see patients in London, Manchester and Cambridge, although I am happy to travel further afield as required for a high value case.
