I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the Expert Witness Institute.

I have undergone formal training in writing medico-legal reports and have provided personal injury and clinical negligence reports since 1994 on the instructions of law firms, medical defence organisations and medical reporting organisations.

As an expert witness, he is available to testify in court cases and to write reports that comply with all regulations in cases involving the following procedures relating to plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery and aesthetic and cosmetic surgery.

Breast Plastic Surgery, Burns, Cosmetic Surgery (ear reshaping, nose reshaping, abdominoplasty, liposuction), Surgery for Facial Palsy, Hand Surgery, Hand Injuries, Microsurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Soft Tissue Injuries and Scarring.

Mr Varma has undergone formal training in writing medico-legal reports and on the Civil Procedure Rules.
