I am a senior Consultant Ophthalmologist in full‑time private practice. I previously served as an NHS Consultant Ophthalmologist from 2006 to 2022 and was Clinical Lead at East Cheshire NHS Trust from 2008 to 2016.

I now run a busy private practice across the North West of England and North Wales.

I have published 30 peer reviewed articles, written two chapters and presented at many international ophthalmological meetings.

I am a member of many learned ophthalmological societies (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, UK and Ireland Society of Refractive Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology and The European Contact Lens Society of Ophthalmologists).

I am a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at The Wilmslow Hospital and a former council member of the Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association.

I have been writing medicolegal reports since 2011. I have worked as expert witness in all areas of general ophthalmology, oculo-plastics, ocular trauma, cataract and refractive (surgical and laser) surgery.

My reports have turn-around of within 3-4 weeks of receipt of all necessary documentation or from the date of examination of the client (if necessary), whichever is later.

However, if required, if may be possible to complete the report within a shorter period of time.
