I have been an NHS consultant since 2003 and have worked in three NHS Trusts and previously in private practice.
I served for 22 years in the Army Reserve including a tour as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan.
I have won awards for my teaching and mentoring and I am a very experienced public speaker at national and international meetings.
My interest is in endo-urology particularly renal stone disease but my NHS practice also includes generic core urology.
I have significant experience of, and have published on the rare condition of Fourniere’s gangrene.
I have published widely both inside and outside medicine and have a third aspect of my portfolio career as a military historian and professional writer.
