I am a Maxillofacial Surgeon working in private practice, postgraduate maxillofacial education at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, and research.
Currently I am a honorary senior lecturer at University College London, teaching post-graduates at the Eastman Dental Institute. My clinical practice involves all aspects of maxillofacial reconstruction.
I have recently taken early retirement from a full-time NHS post as a surgeon completing two major all-day operating lists per week.
My specialist interests are related to ablative and reconstructive head and neck surgery. This includes imaging, data analysis including 3D volume assessment of tumours, coagulopathies and construction of CT/MRI derived surgical models.
The engineering enables customized cranio-facial prostheses to be manufactured preoperatively.
