I have worked in both acute and community settings in a wide variety of roles, including in the specialist fields of Acute Theatres, Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Alcohol-use Disorders, Cancer Services, Urgent Care and Primary Care.
13 years’ experience working in senior clinical leadership roles, initially as Lead Nurse for an Acute Hospital Alcohol Service, then as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in an ACP led Rapid Diagnostics Clinic for suspected cancer, and more recently as Service Lead in a busy Urgent Treatment Centre.
I have a Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, meaning that I am qualified to see, treat, manage and discharge undiagnosed and undifferentiated patients in the same way that a medical doctor would.

I have attended court twice for the purposes of providing evidence at inquest.
